Magalie Laguerre-Wilkinson, a producer for the CBS News legendary news programme, 60 Minutes, moderates the first session of the 2016 edition of Voices of Faith.

Magalie, who is of Haitian origin, is based in New York with tentacles all over the world. She’s been recognized with numerous accolades throughout her career. Most recently she was awarded a 2015 Gabriel Award for co-producing an interview with Cardinal Seán O’Malley of Boston.

In 2013 she won the Gracie Award for her exclusive profile of Christine Lagarde, director of the IMF and earlier, in 2012, she won an Emmy award and the prestigious Peabody Award for her coverage of a symphony orchestra from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

She is a true globe-trotter in a constant pursuit of individuals and events worthy of projection on the global stage through her iconic TV program.

A television personality who mostly stays behind-the- scenes, Magalie, a devout Catholic, comes to the forefront on this occasion to highlight the lives of mercy lived by Catholic women around the world.
