Silvia Genovesi

Silvia Genovesi, contralto, professional singer and a teacher of modern singing at the Music School Maestro Gianpiero Rossi (Fr, Italy). She studies singing privately and participated in numerous master classes with internationally renowned professionals.

She graduated with a degree in psychology at the University of Rome, La Sapienza, and after graduation decided to follow her great vocation of teaching music. For more than fifteen years, she has been a soloists at the “Scuola Cantorum Doctor Mellifluus” of the Casamari Abbey (FR, Italy). Her particular vocal characteristics, her continuous studies and her meticulous research have permitted her to explore different music genres from pop, soul, blues, liturgic music to Gregorian chant.
