Mary Lou Falcone becomes the first Ambassador of Voices of Faith

Voices of Faith is delighted and honored to announce that Mary Lou Falcone has graciously accepted to become the first Ambassador of Voices of Faith. We are grateful for her trailblazing leadership, which she has began as the inaugural Chair of the Advisory Board in 2015 and advances further in her new role as Voices of Faith ambassador.

Mary Lou Falcone is a classical music public relations specialist who created
M.L. Falcone, Public Relations in 1974. From her office located in Manhattan’s cultural nucleus, she currently shares her expertise with such distinguished organizations as the Los Angeles Philharmonic/Gustavo Dudamel, and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra/Jaap van Zweden, along with Carnegie Hall and the Birgit Nilsson Foundation.

Ms. Falcone attended The Curtis Institute of Music where she studied voice. Upon graduating, she sang professionally for eight years with such organizations as the WNET Opera Theatre and the St. Paul Opera Company and soloed with orchestras, sang oratorio, and appeared in recitals. Also during this period, Ms. Falcone was a member of the faculty at the Baldwin School in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, where she taught voice and general music for six years before being asked to chair the Music Department, which she did for several years. Ms. Falcone is currently on the faculty of The Juilliard School, and has lectured at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria, the Solti Accademia in Italy, and at the Curtis Institute of Music. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the Avery Fisher Artist Program. Mary Lou Falcone resides in Manhattan.
