Magalie Laguerre has been the associate producer of 60 minutes on CBS for the past twelve years. Born in the United States to Haitian parents, she studied at the United Nations International School and received BA from Marist College in 1993. In 2015 she received a Gabriel Award for co-producing an interview with Cardinal Sean O’Malley of Boston; in 2013 she won the Gracie Award for her interview with Christine Lagarde, Director of the IMF and earlier, in 2012, she won an Emmy award and the prestigious Peabody Award for her coverage of a symphony orchestra from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
