“My wish for women in the Catholic Church is that we be recognized and respected as equal members of the one Christ and therefore have access to all Church ministries and offices and equal voice in decision making for the good of the whole People of God. I’m no longer staying silent about how women are kept subservient, discriminated against and abused by clericalsim and male-designed canons that keep men in power over women. I’m sharing this because it is time to end a culture in the Catholic Church of mysogenism, exclusionary interpretations of Scripture and clinging to traditions used to cling to power and prestige.”
